Animal Artist Diane Young - From Wildlife to Birdlife - Gloucestershire I am inspired by nature and love to paint animals both realistically and create animal characters with a hint of humour.
Appreciation of wildlife and storytelling is key to my work, using reality as a reference, or animals featured in poems and folklore.
From Whales and Seals to Hares and Cats; 2017 has been a year where I have been focussing more on bird wildlife, from black caps to peregrines.
Look for gold leaf which is a favourite embellishment of mine which gives a picture an individual and luxurious look. That extra special commission is just an email enquiry away!
